Mugshot Monday---Happy Halloween

Happy Halloween! We had a visit from an adorable ladybug and a cuddly, wuddly brown bear. Trick or Treating is a little different at our house. For the past several years we have worked with our theatre students on a community service project called "Trick or Treat So Kids Can Eat". It is sponsored by the International Thespian Society. On Halloween, our students go door to door in our neighborhood collecting canned goods and other non-perishable food items. This year our troupe collected over 1500 lbs of food. Other troupes around the country are out collecting just like we were and nationwide probably more than 300,000 lbs of food will be collected and donated to local food banks. My theatre students are the best (and they also have some wonderful parents) and I am so proud that they are willing to take time out to help others.
